NanoMaterials named a top 30 prize winner in the Network of Automotive Excellence Innovation Award 2010 competition.


NanoMaterials named “Nanotechnology Company of the Year 2010” by the Israel Ministry of Industry & Trade, Office of the Chief Scientist and MATIMOP.


NanoMaterials in the top 10 of 80 competitors in the Israeli nano-tech market according to The Marker, a premier news source on High-tech in Israel.


NanoMaterials’ NanoLub® product range, received the Nano 50TM Award, 2006. The Nano 50 Awards, presented by Nanotech Briefs magazine, recognizes the top 50 technologies, products, and innovators that have significantly impacted the nanotechnology industry. Nanotech Briefs is a digital monthly magazine from the publishers of NASA Tech Briefs that highlights engineering breakthroughs in nanotechnology and MEMS. Nano 50 nominations were judged by a panel of nanotechnology experts.


NanoMaterials has been selected by Red Herring for the prestigious Red Herring Top 100 INNOVATORS Award for 2004. “Selection as a top 100 Innovator puts a company in an elite group.”, said Joel Dreyfuss, Editor-in-Chief of Red Herring. Red Herring’s editorial staff evaluated over 1,200 submissions. Their decision was based on a careful analysis of financial data as well criteria of the quality of management, execution of strategy, and dedication to research and development.


NanoMaterials was selected for the Innovation WORLD 21. This prestigious award recognizes the 21 top companies, out of hundreds profiled by Innovation WORLD, that combine exceptionally promising products with solid financial and operational qualities. “Keep an eye on the companies on this list, they are going to do big things. NanoMaterials is part of the joint project AddNano, which is partially funded by the European Commission within the 7th Framework Programme (NMP-2008-1.2.1). Its overall objective is to overcome the technological barriers involved in the development of large scale market introduction of a new generation of lubricants incorporating inorganic fullerenes and other nano-materials.


The NES Consortium is interested in cooperation with other Research Groups, Institutes and suppliers of inorganic and carbon nanotubes, with the aim of contributing knowledge in the field and of improving the world we live in. The Consortium was founded in 2009 as part of Israel’s MAGNET program. It is supported by the Office of the Chief Scientist in Israel’s Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor. The vision of the Consortium is to develop new, game-changing applications in various technological fields, based on the innovative use of nanotubes. The NES Consortium comprises 13 Israeli companies and 11 Israeli academic groups. Among members are researchers from each of the leading universities in Israel, as well as from a broad range of companies – from large public companies to young start-ups currently working in nanotechnologies to develop unique applications.


The European Commission Grants €11.6 Million to Research NanoMaterials’ Nanoparticles by a Pan- European Consortium. The project, named FOREMOST will research new ways of introducing NanoMaterials’ inorganic fullerene nanoparticles into surface coatings and lubricants. The inorganic fullerenes have unique friction and wear reducing properties. The four and half year, pan-European project, whose total budget is €18.9 million, is funded by the European Union’s Sixth Framework Program for Nanotechnologies and Nanosciences.
